Clarisse.

I always believed there was a Mr. Right out there. It is said that good things come to those who wait, but no one ever tells you how long the wait can be. One day I took a bold step towards finding my Mr. Right, I asked my friend to Introduce me to someone whom she truly believed would be a great fit for me. I was very skeptical about this undertaking as it was something I’d never done before. A few weeks later, she came back with a response... “I have found the perfect guy for you. His name is Keith.”Being the FBI agent all women are, I did my investigation and checked him out for myself. Thank God for good ole social media… I was very impressed with my findings, so I decided to give it a try. A month later, he reached out with a very corny question  based on a T-shirt I was wearing on my profile picture “Is Hennything really possible?” He had a sense of humor and was very easy to talk to… the rest is history.

A friend approached me with a familiar request, “I would like you to meet my friend. But only if you are single.” I was very hesitant but finally gave in to her request when she asked the second time. I had had Clarisse’s number for over a month but needed the courage to reach out. A few weeks later we could barely go an hour a day without communicating. A few months later I braved the travel restrictions and risked covid when I visited for the first time. It was apparent we were made for each other.

 

A year later we moved in together, which was a turning point in our lives. As time passed, we got engaged. When we look back at the decisions made, we can wholeheartedly say it was the best decision we ever made.

Our love journey has just begun, and we can’t wait to celebrate one of the major milestones with you all.
